Andrea Ciappesoni is an italian designer, his creations are a mix of traditional italian style and modern futuristic design. He loves to play with materials and find new application for them especially in lighting. He likes to use natural materials such as stones, glass, fibers, graphite … but sometime he plays with plexiglas. He believes that design needs to be shocking and impressive, he is studying the 3rd dimension applied to the design.
A Design & Competition winner Milano Expo2015 selected as excellence in design, Roma design lab winner.

the work of Andrea Ciappesoni “the light in the bubble” has won the prestigious award “A’ design Award and competition 2015” in the category “lighting”.

A’ design award is one of the most prestigious international design awards, certainly the most merit award, conferred by a mathematical analysis mediated by a jury of more than 50 specialists and accademic designers from all over the world.
